Posted by Simone I had to share. They say love is all you need, its what makes the world go around. Yes this is true. But I believe you get different kinds of love. A parents love for their child, sibling love, love for your friends. The heart racing, butterfly creating love you have for a partner. We can love so many people in so many different ways. But there is one love so great that it surpasses all of these. Using the world love to describe it is not enough. It does not even come close to what you feel and experience when you meet a person who changes your entire world and your existence. You are never going to be the same person again. How could you be ordinary again after meeting the one who shows you, without a doubt, that a higher power exists. Its a journey that has probably spanned lifetimes. You feel things you have never felt. Everything, your whole life, the world around you is viewed differently. Someone has touched your soul, and once that happens there is no going back. From the first kiss to the last embrace is a life changing experience. One that you look back on and wonder if it really ever happened. Yet you know, without a doubt, that it did. The only question I am left with is why? Why me? Why now? What is the reason? Eventually I will find the answers I seek. I will understand what just happened. I will know my purpose. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason, we just have to be patient. We wont get all the answers we want when we want them. They will come, and it will all make sense. Until then we look at the world, and its people, through new innocent eyes and we know, we definitely know, that we dont belong here anymore. We have shifted to a higher level, and everything that has happened started that day when you kissed me. You lifted me into a different realm. One that I am still figuring out. You will do things you swore that you would never do. You spend all your money. You live life on the edge. You feel so alive. This person was sent to rock you to the core. To make you question everything you ever learnt about life. To rip out your foundations and destroy your world. It is an unimaginable love that changes your very existence. It is passion, fire, desire. It is pain, loneliness, anger and shame. You will spiral from high to low in minutes. It is meant to be this way. You cannot fix anything unless it has been broken into a million tiny pieces. Only then do you find your soul. Only then can you pick up those shattered shards of your existence and begin to put them back together. But they will not fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. They arent supposed to. You are not repairing yourself. You are building a new you. The true you, your new existence unhindered by ego and society. None of that matters anymore. Everything has changed. Nothing stays the same. Physically, you may be in the same place, but spiritually and emotionally you are in a different realm. You are closer, yet apart. You are awake, yet so far above everyone, that you feel like you dont belong here. It is the strangest, hardest, most painful path you will ever walk. When you met this person it felt like coming home, like you were looking into your own soul through their eyes. It is like meeting an old friend you have known for lifetimes, that you had this all preplanned. Its a journey of discovery, self acceptance, self hatred, guilt, shame, horror, excitement, love, highs and lows, joy and happiness like you will never ever experience again. Simone x
