Posted on Newstalk 106-108 fm today: newstalk.ie/Oireacteas-banking-inquiry-set-to-speed-up Now the courts have told them who they can and cannot blame will we see everything pinned on the two boys? Will Seanie walks away with his reputation intact? Will there be any investigation of his role as Chairman? Will there be a finding of fact against the FInancial Regulator who allegedly gave Anglo some advice in this matter, or the Governor of the Central Bank whose organization apparently may have failed to adequately police it? Will these issues be dealt with by the cozy political appointees who will investigate this matter? Methinks not. Upset apple carts dont make for good local election donors. Another whitewash is what I expect. So well done Seanie. Hear No Evil. See No Evil. Speak No Evil. So sorry to have troubled you and made you the subject of an inadequately run multi-year Garda Investigation that failed to interview all the chief actors and made you a figurehead scapegoat. Well done Gardai for that. Well done bankers. Carry on your unregulated derivatives trades and your over the counter trades and whatever youre having yourself. Well done, our Estate Agents Auctioneers and Valuers, who talked up the price of everything while knowing the value of nothing and force fed the bubble like a questioner in Guantanamo Bay dealing with an unproven terrorist on hunger strike. Its good to know our economy is in good hands, between you and our glad-handing, back-slapping, property developers, perceptive press, infallible courts and honorable politicians. We can all look forward to a Good Recovery . . . next year . . . for some . . .
