Posted on the Qantas page Dear A.J. as a Business Traveller to Asia i decided to fly MAS to HCMC recently as this airline is now a One World member sponsored by Qantas. i was just dissapointed to find that i received no Points and no Status credits with them. You have abandoned the South Australian market and leave your members with no option but to fly with MAS or SIA direct to Asia. When we choose to take advantage of using a One World member, one would at least expect them to give the basic points and status credits. it is obvious that you and One World are depriving the South Australian members of any service and respect for the loyalty we have shown both programs. It is now time to explore other options as it is more and more obvious that you are not willing to engage the South Australian travelling public and only want us to fly Via Emirates or Jetstar (Bogan Bus) I have worked hard to earn My Status with Qantas but am now willing to forgo membership for 12 months to change my status with Virgin and hence SIA. You recently asked for support against the increase in ownership by SIA and ANZ in Virgin, but how can we when you show a total disregard for your customers. A.J put up or shut up if you want your customers to support you the do the same for us and give us service. at the very least get on board with a code share with MAS so we can gain the recognition we deserve as members.
