(Posted with permission) Heya everyone, A big welcome back after what I hope has been a rejuvenating break for most, and for those first years welcome to Deakin! I just wanted to take this opportunity to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Christine and this year I am a DUSA welfare ninja. You’re probably asking yourself: What the heck is a DUSA ninja? Fair question. We all know that uni life and life in general comes with its fair share of ups and downs, and that’s where the DUSA ninjas come in! I’m here to help answer any questions you have, help you figure out how to solve any problems you are having and refer you to the Deakin services that can most help with your situation, or even as just an ear when you are feeling a bit stressed out. So if there is anything you need or unsure about, feel free to contact me. You can facebook message, email me ([email protected]) or stop me if you see me around campus. I may just wear those rainbow pants again so you can easily find me. Just maybe. For the time being, I hope you can all settle into your studies well, try and get involved and have a little fun.
