Posting this .....After dance class we made one of our treks to DG for lunch....ran into a table of baudy women..... Just for the fun of it...Nora Martin holding court at DG....MY DEAR and wonderful friend Pauline Ousley and one of the original Swinging Sensations , Mary Jo Halbert. Mary Jo was the reason we were not called anything with old in it....but she wanted us to be known as Swingin....Pauline has been cooped up in the hoyse for a long, long time due to many falls and healing time. Pauline has never driven but with Mary Jo they used to do weekly shopping trips and lunch out on the town...Yesterday she told us that she had been house bound for so long that she called Mary Jo and told her that she didnt ca re if they went to Mexico but to come and get and go somewhere....Im so glad they were out and about....as you can see, we laughed and laughed. Love these ladies so much. We invited these ladies to go the Veterans Center for our last show of the season in Hazard....Mary Jo said that was just to far to go. This episode is Nora telling the ladies that if they wanted to take the trip that she had a whole bunch of pull-ups at home that they could use for the trip.
