Potluck Tailgating Party Sat Nov 8th – post Run/Walk Potluck Tailgating Party is a social event held on & around the open tailgate of a vehicle. Many people participate even if their vehicles dont have tailgates but each person that does, contributes a dish or drink for all to enjoy. It builds team support establishing a strong core of support, share, reflect, and a job well done through training. We will hold our potluck tailgate party on the last day of training at the parking deck at Retreat post-run/walk. Depending the weather, the party could move to a lower deck as many have requested to keep us warmer. Great suggestion because I’m all for being warmer too. It’s volunteer participation of everyone. We hope that everyone will come enjoy & have some fun! Bring your family & friends. Tell them where to meet at Retreat. If you have a “lawn game” that we should try, safe on concrete, please bring it & we’ll give it shot. Of course, what party doesn’t have music? I’m sure some of you have mad dance skills to show. Either bring a food or a drink to share. I’ll bring disposable cups, plates, napkins, & utensils. Food & drink examples: appetizer (cheese & meat roll), chips and dip, rolls, bagels, buns, main course item (breakfast casserole, breakfast pizza,) desserts (cake, oreo’s, donuts), Now….don’t everyone bring desserts. drinks (Chocolate Milk, Coffee), etc
