Pound Report 7th November 2014 First thing to report is that the Terrier mentioned last week from Wicklow Town that allegedly bit a child has been PTS on the 31 October - 11 days after entering the pound. I wonder if they gave any advice to the parents of the child and/or dog owner as how to keep children and dogs safe and how to avoid this happening again. Education as always is key. There were 2 dogs in the pound and one had been rehomed just before we arrived so we didnt see her and so have no photograph of her. (we were there at 11.20 am): Daisy: Xbreed terrier black & white from Wicklow Town came into the pound on 31/10/14, available for rehoming 7/11/14 Rehomed:7/11/14 Yogi: a fabulous Rottweiler boy from Arklow who came into the pound 31/10/14 and is available for rehoming 7/11/14 Absolutely stunning boy. Doris: a sweet Xbreed, gorgeous Xbreed from Greystones who looks slightly older girl. Doris came into the pound 4/11/14. She will be available for rehoming 11/11/14 should her owners not come forward. Report Update: As yogi was available for rehoming on the day we were there (yesterday) we decided to pop up again today to see if he had been rehomed after we left. We found that this had happened and he was marked rehomed in the register. This could also mean he has found a place in rescue as they dont distinguish between the two in the public register we see. We also are delighted to report that Doris the sweetie cross breed girl has gone back to her family. Thrilled for her as it was obviously she was really missing her family, Delightful girl ;)
