Powered By Hope Team-- Saturday is fast approaching and wanted to give you all an update on our progress and information for race morning. First the update. We have 125+ PBH members--by far the largest team! We are currently 3rd in Top Team fundraising. For Saturday--Look for a big batch of colorful balloons. That is where we will gather as a team. I will have PBH tshirts available to buy that morning --$15.00 a piece, please bring exact change. When you pick up your packet you will recieve a pair of boxers, you may wear those or be more creative. Please wear your undies over your running shorts or tights:) Since we have such a large team--not everyone will have our team shirt on. I will have a large upside down heart (actually looks like the shape of a butt) to stick on our backs or your butt or wherever) so that we may identify eachother, encourage one another and engage with eachother. In other words--be a team--introduce yourself and have FUN. Also--the butt stickers will be white and I will have sharpies there if you would like to write a message or someones name (that you are running in memory or honor of). My goal -- at 8:30am we have all found the balloons/team and are race ready --meaning--undies on, white sticker on, race # on ect.... We will take some team pictures one with a banner that has a shout out to Ellen DeGeneres--then move over to the start area and get a picture with all the participants. A professional photographer will be there. We are the LARGEST Undy 5000 run/walk in the nation!!! How cool is that. Online registration closes Thursday the 27th at 8:00pm. On site registration open Sat. 7:30am. Invite your friends, bring your kids--- All access roads are closed a 8:45 for race saftey. See website for all details. If you have old running or tennis shoes you dont want--I will be collecting them for The Half Fund. Bring them to the start-I wiil have a bucket by the balloons.
