Powerhouse Gym update. 1. A schedule of classes starting Oct. 1st has been made. Classes are as follows, Pilates, Zumba, Raw, yoga, Cardio Kickboxing, spin, TRX and of course MMA combat fighting. I will post schedule soon. 24 to 28 classes per week. 2. Membership has tripled since we opened. Thank you so much. We are very excited gym owners. 3. Michelle and I are heading to Las Vegas tomorrow for 6 days for the Powerhouse convention and Mr. Olympia weekend. It will be our first time attending a gym owners convention. Looking to make contacts and relationships that will benefit the gym, your Powerhouse Gym! I will be working deals for sure to get the supplement store in full swing. New trends and new equipment will be researched in depth. I have my shopping/wish list on me. 4. Did I say membership has tripled? :-) 5. We are having Ts made up, Deadlift and Bench Press Clubs. Validated and witnessed by me only. 400, 500, 600 LB clubs. Free to those who can move these weights. Powerhouse T with a picture of a deadlifting or bench pressing cartoon figure with the weight under it. Wear with pride! 6. Ventilation issues that has plagued the group class room for years is being fixed, a system designed for quick changes in humidity. A new spin room was built. All bikes will be tuned up prior to the first class. 7. When we return, I will be initiating conversations with local coaches of middle school and high school aged athletes, and local travel teams, to start programs of speed and strength training, sport specific. With 18,000 sq ft of space, and enough equipment to sink a freight ship, WHY NOT!! Its time our children receive all the benefits that those who live in larger demographics enjoy. Keith and Michelle
