The main mission of BUBA is to facilitate the matching of entrepreneurs (looking for venture capital) with business angel. BUBA aims to increase the quantity, quality and success of angel investments in Turkey by leveraging the culture and know-how in Bogazici University and in doing so create a greater pool of capital for innovative start-up companies. The primary objectives of the BUBA association are to promote the growth of angel investment in Turkey including; •encouraging and educating entrepreneurs, new angel investors and angel groups •encouraging collaboration between members and providing education for those •develop the spirit of entrepreneurship and contribute to the growth of a vibrant and innovation economy •transfer of entrepreneurial knowledge and skills from one generation of entrepreneurs (the business angel) to the other (the entrepreneur getting BA’ smart money and support) •Stepping stone for other investors and in particular VC markets •Strengthen the entrepreneurial reputation of the university BUBA wants to recruit a Coordinator, who will play integral role in achieving the above objectives and also be important influencer in the Turkish entrepreneur and investor community.
