Practical Muslim Reminder TOPIC: Dhul Hijjah (month of Hajj). HADEETH: The Prophet (sas) said: “There are no days during which the righteous action is so pleasing to Allah than these days (first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah). ‘He was asked, “O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in the cause of Allah?’ ‘He (sas) replied: “Not even Jihaad in the cause of Allah, except in case one goes forth with his life and his property and does not return with either of it’ (Bukhaari) PRACTICAL ACTION: Today (Sunday 6th october) is the first day of the Dhul Hijjah. Just as we push ourselves in Ramadan we need to push ourselves in worship in these priceless days. We should try and fast more, arrange Qurbani, read Quran, do dhikr, dua, dawah and display the best manners inshAllah. This is the true preparation for the gift of Eid which will inshallah be Tuesday 15th October inshallah.
