Pradeep Sathe was an Mumbai based Indian artist and illustrator, who have contributed a lot for Indian comics. He has created some very popular and cult characters for various Indian comics published in different Indian languages for a long period. He was a strong and good illustrator who specialized in drawing sharp and realistic figures. He did illustrations for various Amar Chitra Katha Comics, his other works includes illustrating characters like Mayavi (Malayalam) for Balarama Comics, Kalia - The Crow for Tinkle which was featured from the very first issue and had a faithful following, Gamraj (son of Yamraj) for Raj Comics, Angara for Tulsi Comics, Inspector Vikram for Sun Comics, Dara - The Prince of Spies and Aditya - The Man from Nowhere for the cult Indrajal Comics, and many more. Other than these he also did cover art and illustrations for many Indian books and magazines.
