When on 18 June 2009 the Deutsche Bank counter started, long-lived GHGs in the atmosphere were estimated to be 3,6426 billion (or 3.6 trillion) metric tons, and since then they have grew at 2 billion metric tons a month and is now approaching 2 billion metric tons a month. The level of GHGs was 472 ppm, of which CO2 was 389 ppm. On 18 June 2012 it rose to 3,705 billion metric tons. On 18 June 2013, now 4 years since its installation, the content of GHG in atmosphere will be it will exceed 3,737 billion metric tons and the CO2 level was 400 ppm on 9 May 2013 before it dips a bit now in summer.
