Praise Report: Rhett is a little fighter!!!!! We got wonderful news from the neonatologist this morning. The chest X-ray this morning is almost completely clear! Blood gases still look perfect and they are doubling the amount of breast milk he can receive today! This is an answer to prayer all by itself- he has been starving and it has been pure torture on us to see him hungry and be unable to feed him. They will start weaning him off the oxygen slowly in hopes to be fully breathing on his own within the next couple of days. He will only require 7 days of antibiotics versus 10, which will be complete Tuesday morning. Once he is breathing room air, we will FINALLY be able to hold our sweet boy and I will be able to nurse. Then, when he is tolerating full feedings (they expect this to happen soon), we will be able to bring him home!!!! We give God all the glory and know these results are a direct result of all our prayer warriors out there :)
