‘Praise the Lord’ is what I thought to myself shortly after I - TopicsExpress

‘Praise the Lord’ is what I thought to myself shortly after I woke up and realized that my boys had both slept in the bedroom last night! My three year old came looking for me around 6! That’s huge! And I had a God wink as I opened a book that I had never even opened before and there were those words again, “Praise the Lord” as the author discussed a turning point in his lif, as the parents of a four year old that required brain surgery had such faith that God would heal their son and He did! He was the boy’s doctor and really expected the child to die! Then as I told my mom the boys had slept in their room she exclaimed, “Praise the Lord!” too! I’m praising God all day as my constant prayer is simply, “Thank You God!” I have no fear, I don’t worry, I forgive quickly, I live kindly, I love extravagantly, I’m bouncing around with gratitude and I live life trusting and having faith knowing God is always with me! I’ve learned that this is what takes me closer to God and when I’m there my life is richest! And when my thoughts go in the other direction, with thoughts of doubt, worry, revenge, frustration and I’m not my most loving, forgiving and kind self, boy or boy, my life is miserable! Someone sent me an email asking me how to get there and my reply was three words, “Practice, practice, practice!” Catch yourself all day long and watch your thoughts! Are you thinking thoughts such as fear, worry, unforgiveness, anger and hatred? Just practice replacing those thoughts with thoughts of love, kindness, forgiveness, joy, gratitude, trust and faith! Remember, everything is between us and God! Don’t worry what anyone else is doing! Just go out every day being the best person you can be! Rejoice and trust God always! Live kindly, love extravagantly, forgive quickly and let everything you do be pleasing to God! We go with God!
