Pray for the family of Dr. Martin Salia as they grieve his loss to Ebola. His wife Isatu & two sons were believing God for his healing. One of Dr. Salias sons, Maada Salia, reached out to his Facebook family requesting prayer on behalf of his father. He, at one point, spoke words of faith, declaring his dad to be Ebola-free. May the Lord comfort them all at this difficult time. Before dying, in a video interview, Dr. Salia said he believed he was on divine assignment when it came to helping the people of Sierra Leone. “I knew it wasn’t going to be rosy, but why did I decide to choose this job? I firmly believe that God wanted me to do it. And I knew deep within myself, there was just something inside of me [that knew] that the people of this part of Freetown needed help, he explained. Dr. Salia continued, “I see it as God’s own desired framework for me. I took this job, not because I wanted to, but I firmly believe that it was a calling and that God wanted me to.” Though he lived in Annapolis, Maryland and could have chosen comfort over sacrifice, Dr. Salia died giving His life in service to God and others.
