She was admitted to Bethesda North Hospital Her doctor, cleaned up her shunt and removed her port. If she is feeling okay tomorrow she will get to come home. Doctors are very concerned about infection setting and she is on very highpowered antibiotic.SHE WENT HOME even though she is still very sick. She has a pic line and will receive daily doses of high powered antibiotics through it at home. Please pray for Rick Daugherty who was seen in the ER for a Lumbar sprain. He was given medication and injections and sent home. Im convinced prayer is the answer, God is good, please Pray Pray Pray for Tripp. Please be in prayer for Tristen Wilson who is at Childrens hospital in Atlanta recuperating from at rotted tree falling on him and his 3 year old sister. Tristen suffered head trauma and a broken back and has a long road back to the 6 year old he should be. Theres a lot of painful therapy to endure. Please ask God the help Tristen to PUSH and we should too because PUSH stands for PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS!**Good News** Today God worked a miracle with Tristan! Tristan has been unable to stand or walk unaided since the accident UNTIL TODAY. Today Tristen stood and pulled his own clothes on, walked unaided(without the use of a gait belt) just holding his Daddys hand to the therapy room and back and everywhere he went today, he also stood on his own to use the restroom today with no accidents and he walked 10 foot between his parents without holding to anything or anybody! Please pray for Tammy Smith, retired Simon Kenton Art teacher.Shes now in the Long Term Acute Care unit at St. Elizabeth in Ft. Thomas. Her husband explained that there is infection in her brain and has beenfor quite a while. She has had limited improvement from antibiotic therapy,she has had 2 strokes and is very malnourished. They will be doing frequent MRIs to monitor her and if there continues to be no improvement,they will be stopping treatment. He didnt give a time frame for this.Please pray for the entire family. Vicky Courtney Asking continuing prayers for my son Eric. He now has fever of 102 along with the bacterial infection. Pneumonia is cleared up Doctors have said things could get worse before they get better.The tests revealed that the bacterial infection started in his heart and has been there for a while, it has damaged the valve and caused the valve to leak the infection into his blood stream. Doctors are doing more testing to see if heart infection is worse.Doctors are at last giving the hope that 16 days more of strong antibiotic and it is possible that valve replacement could be avoided.All of this infection was caused by the use of Herion. The doctor says that Eric is lucky that he stopped using some months ago. That most people he sees with this degree of damage usually does not make it. Erics was found in time. This is God at work!!!He is going to be transferred to St E Fort Thomas Extended care soon. Eloise is undergoing physical therapy for her knee replacement surgery at Gateway and plans to be coming home this Friday. Please pray for Lisa Schawes uncle, Bedford Gross, who has been fighting cancer since 2005. It has spread throughout his body; its in his spine, lungs, etc; he doesnt say much, but I believe hes nearing the end of his battle. She came out of her coma and has now been moved to a nursing home facility until her time on earth is over. Her father has a cottage at this same facility and now he can see her anytime he wants to. His wife was in the Alzheimers unit at this facility, so he bought one of the cottages there. He continued to live there after her death, because if he goes down, he can move over into the skilled nursing part where his daughter is. His heart is breaking because of watching her die. Pray for Rebekah Bradshaw Gregory, who was a spectator at the Boston Marathon,. Rebekah has been moved to Texas where her mother, Tina, resides, to continue her rehabilitation. Continue praying as it will be a long road still!Rebekah is at the bottom of a huge mountain of recovery.Rebekah just had her 14th surgery and is in tremendous pain. Pray Pray Pray.Praise God for her Fiancee. She accepted his proposal.I just received an update on Rebekah (Bradshaw) Gregory, who was injured in the Boston Marathon bombing, from Tanya Poer. She still cannot walk and is in a wheelchair, but is still taking therapy and they are adjusted screws in her ankle on regular basis which is very painful but doctor is holding out hope that she will be able to walk. She has to keep her leg elevated most of the time. Please remember Tim Tolle oldest son of Sherry and Donald. He has diabetes and has struggled for 17 years now and we ask you pray believing for total healing In his body. Isaiah 43:18–19 ESV While sitting in church one morning listening to the speaker drone on, I yawned and thought how long is left before we can go home. Having served the Lord a couple decades, graduated seminary and been ordained, I felt like I knew what he was going to say already. As I was thinking this, I felt the Holy Spirit speak to me and said: “Do you really know everything that I am going to say? Is there nothing new that I can show you?” I started paying closer attention and actually learned a couple of things during the rest of the service. I left church like a little dog with his tail between his legs and try to pay attention when the Holy Spirit is using someone. It is easy to become cynical and really smart when you have been around the block several times, and you know people for who they really are, but God can use anyone and we should know that. If someone is sharing something, don’t be a know-it-all, listen to what they are saying! You might learn something like I did. One of the hardest lessons in life is letting go. Whether it is guilt, anger, love, loss or betrayal. Change is never easy. We fight to hold on and we fight to let go. It is a struggle of will and mind. Prayer can help to make it easier. Start every morning with a love letter from God.
