Prayer Request Please lift up the Willard family today as we’ve learned that Jean Willard passed away last night. Arrangements have not been finalized but we will be sure to post them as soon as we hear of them. Annual Meeting – THIS SUNDAY! If you are a member of JCCC then we ask that you take a moment to prayerfully consider our leadership for the upcoming year (see the attached document for the names). Our Annual meeting, where we will vote on 2015 leadership and budget, is scheduled for this Sunday morning, December 7, immediately following the second service. There will also be absentee ballots available on the Welcome Desk in the church lobby. Poinsettia Orders Each year we decorate our sanctuary with poinsettias placed in memory and/or in honor of loved ones for the holiday season. You have just one more Sunday to place an order. They are $7.00 each and we will place them on the stage on December 14 and they may be taken home after the 2nd service on December 21. Look for an order form in the bulletin on Sunday. TCTC- January 9-11, 2015 This week is your last chance to sign up for TCTC! The total cost for the Tennessee Christian Teen Convention is now $135 and requires a $50 deposit. You must see Luke to sign up and he will need your t-shirt size at that time. *Please note: after December 5, NO students will be allowed to sign up for TCTC. That’s this Friday!!! Rescue Ministries Christmas Fellowship – This Saturday A church-wide invitation is extended to anyone who would like to attend the Rescue Ministries Fellowship in the Multipurpose Room at JCCC this Saturday, December 6 from 7-9pm. Pecans for Sale We have this year’s crop of XL pecan pieces available for purchase each Sunday at the Welcome Desk in the lobby. They are $10 per pound and proceeds from the sale will go toward helping to restock our food pantry. Food Pantry As the weather turns colder, our food pantry is utilized more and more. If you can make a food or monetary donation, it would be greatly appreciated. You may place any food donations to the right on the shelf inside the pantry in room 206. The Rescue Ministries: Christmas Catalog The Rescue Ministries is a non-profit organization that was established in 2009 after a mission team visited the Philippines and saw the need to rescue children from a life in the trash. This year, they are offering you the opportunity to partner with them by giving gifts provided in their Christmas Gift Catalog. These catalogs are available on the Welcome Desk in the church lobby and we invite everyone to pick one up and choose to give a gift in honor of a teacher, family member or any loved one. Order forms are available inside the catalog and if you have any questions feel free to visit the website at therescueministries.org or call 865.919.8498. Parking and Security Team JCCC ministry on Sunday begins the moment someone drives into the parking lot, and that ministry begins with the Parking Lot and Security Team. Currently, this team needs three more members. Anyone age eighteen and older may join. By signing up on the back of your Connection Card, you’ll receive additional information to help you make a decision whether or not to join this team. (Yes, you will get to wear the neon vest and walkie talkie!)
