Prayer Request: So last week I was wondering about painful braxton hicks, on Thursday night my water broke and my son was born at 34 weeks 3 days. He is currently in the NICU and doing well except that we are struggling with feeding. We had some really good feeds. He is no longer on the CPAP machine and he doesnt have a feeding tube anymore. We are breastfeeding and he also gets my milk in a bottle depending on how much he takes from me. I think the scale is not weighing him that great because I feel like he is getting more from me than what they are saying. We are currently at 35ml a feed and have to reach 50ml. his past two feeds have been poor to say the least. He is being increased by 5 mls every 9 hours. I had a previous NICU baby who passed away and this is taking a tole on me. I so want to be home with my husband and our 4 year old. I want so badly to take my little guy home. I got a ray of hope that if he continued to do good we would be home by Wednesday but i fear with these last two feedings that , that hope is being stripped away. Please pray that we can pass all our tests and make it home soon. ~11
