Prayer Response August 18 Blessed Father, Thank You Lord for being with us this day that we may sing and uplift ours souls and voices to you in song and praise. Lord I get such a blessing from Your music whether it is a massive choir, to the sound of the wind in a tree, or the laughter of a child; each is evidence of Your majesty. We praise you for each and every blessing that we have been allowed to witness! All Glories we give to You Father. Almighty Lord, We come before You now in great need of Your mercy for physical and emotional healing and to guide us to peace as we solve our problems. You, Lord, are the doctor and physician of our souls. We humbly ask You to send us Your healing power into every area of our inner pain and hurt. We surrender to You all of our sins, especially those hurtful past events where anger and bitterness have been allowed to fester, causing harm to our physical health and stopping us from forming normal relationships with one another. We know Lord, that we need to find emotional peace so that our physical illnesses can heal as well. Lord we uplift a plea to You to help stop the fighting in the world. Please be the voice of peace in our world and stop the the civil wars and discord within them. We ask for Your grace to forgive every person in our lives who has harmed us and we ask to be set free from all forms of mental, or emotional illnesses that hold us captive. We ask to have the ability to forgive our spouses, children and all extended family members, and ask for Your loving grace to heal all the circumstances where we failed to receive the love, affection, support and respect that we so much need. Please help us to forgive ourselves for past mistakes and failures, and we ask to be set free from all destructive consequences, guilt, shame and self. Help us Lord to choose to forgive everybody, including the person who hurt us most. We ask you Lord Jesus to fill us with Your love, peace, patience, kindness, generosity and self-control. May Your healing hand rest upon each of us now as we bless all those who have hurt any of us. We Ask to be kind and compassionate to everyone, forgiving them just as You have forgiven us. We ask for the healing power of your love to flow through each of us into the lives of those whom we have forgiven. Father, we pray for the unspoken prayer needs, and You know how much they need You and Your comfort in their lives. Please let them feel Your love right now to help them through the storm they face. Lord, be the foundation in our homes and provide us Your salvation, comfort and peace. Stop the errant ones whose hardened hearts are running away from You. Make them hear what You have done for them. Provide and protect our elderly and our children and those whose minds cannot think alone. Protect those who protect our country and see them safely home. Lord we thank You for all things, especially the gift of our salvation. Forgive us our sins we pray, Amen
