Prayer for Christ-like Transformation: Help us by the power of the Holy Spirit to move further and further on with you God. Take away my rough edges, take away my haste, take away my wrath, take away my anger, take away my pride, take away my “self”. Take away my vengeful spirit; take away my offense and my internal hurts, God touch me. Take away my fears and my weakness. Take away my brokenness and my internal fragmentation. Take away my shortness and my intolerance, take it away from me. Give me the nature of my Lord! Give me the character of my Christ! Give me His nature, His way, and His Life on the inside of me. Take away my distance and my lack of caring. Take away my hardness. Take away my isolation and my preference for loneliness, and separation. Take it away from me God. Take it away from me! Take away the celebration of my own individual exploits. Remove me O God from all these things and make me just like Christ as I gaze upon Him. As I gaze upon His word, I gaze upon His nature, His works, His doings, His heart, and as I gaze upon Him I am being transformed into that same image from glory unto glory by the working power of the Spirit of God. Make me quick to repent, make my heart soft and sensitive, make my ears always open to hear your voice. O God, dont let me be shut and closed and hard and clammed up. Make me open and vulnerable and weak. Make me a risk taker. Open my heart, touch me, correct me, fix me, tell me who I am. Give me sight of who you need me to be. I repent of my misdeeds and my brokenness. I repent of my offenses against you, secret faults way beyond the understanding of my limited mind.
