Prayer request for Nick Craig: On Sunday, Nick accompanied Revolution youth on their trip to Zip City. This is an indoor zipline & trampoline facility. While jumping on the trampoline, Nick’s leg gave out. He was taken to the hospital where it was determined that he dislocated his knee, fractured his patella (kneecap), and ruptured a tendon. Those of us, who saw it, can attest to the fact that it was a severe dislocation. In the meantime, 7 Days in the Spirit has begun, and people have been praying for a miracle for Nick. On Wednesday, Nick saw the orthopedic surgeon. The doctor commented on how “weird” Nick’s injury was – the patella had already fused back together, leaving only a small bone shard to be removed, and his knee was no longer dislocated and had returned on its own to a normal position. Also, the tendon that ruptured was not a lateral tendon but a vertical tendon. This is the best possible scenario for a tendon injury. God is working on Nick’s knee! Today, Nick will have outpatient surgery. Please pray for a successful surgery and for a quick and complete recovery. Also, please pray for Nick & Melody’s finances through this whole situation.
