Prayer update for Jaymie.This one came in from Jaymies mom: Today was an encouragement in many ways. She started off by doing several “firsts” for her such as moving her lower extremities, raising her hand to her face, as well as doing some things when asked like opening her mouth, stretching and yawning today for the first time and even pushing away when not liking something. The most exciting thing was while having Pastor Jae pray for Jaymie he was saying goodbye and she gave her first facial movement in 5 days, a true smile! I could not believe it then she gave him a second one. As they all waved bye she lifted her arm and waved back. I was ecstatic and in shock. SO thankful! Karli and Brie arrived tonight and it will be so nice to have them here for a few days at least. Many many unknowns still. She does not have a diagnosis other than encephalitis and there really is no treatment but a wait and see what her body does. Thank you all for your love, prayer and support. It means so much and really is what sustains us. There are moments that are dark but we have much to be grateful for and we know God is in control and loves Jaymie more than we do.We move forward taking one day at a time as we wait, pray and love every minute with her. Thank you for continued prayers for complete healing of her entire body and for no permanent damage.
