Prayers and thoughts for my Dad, Chuck, please...hes not doing too well. Here is a report from my sister, Denise, who is helping to manage his care; she is very thoughtful and wise: Search 6 2 Denise Alekson Einzig 6 mins · Hey Friends, Just going to ask for some prayers, or good vibes, or loving thoughts to be sent out into the universe for my dad. Many of you know he is suffering from dementia and disabilities from post polio syndrome and has been in a nursing home for more than six months. Last night we had him in the ER for non responsive behaviors that imitated a stroke and for a fever of 104.4. It seems he has a horrific infection in his bladder and kidneys and it has moved into his blood and is causing heart issues now. I just want him to be comfortable and not scared. Prayers for his comfort, no matter what that means, and for his mind to rest and feel peace would be greatly appreciated by me, my sisters and mom. Love to all. And please remember the elderly people in your life... they need your presence, your touch, and your smile.
