Prayers for those affected by fires out west: For those who lost loved ones and property – that they don’t also lose hope (Hebrews 6:19) For local churches who are reaching out to their immediate community (Matthew 25:34-36) For those who don’t know Christ in the affected areas to make Him Lord and Savior of their lives in the midst of tragedy (Romans 10:13) For the faithful, to cling to Christ in the midst of uncertainty – that He would be glorified and their faith would be strengthened (James 1:2-4) For the firefighters, medical personnel, and all who have been working for several days straight to provide relief to others (Matthew 11:28) For God to be glorified in this situation and for His strength and power to be displayed - that when temporary things are shaken, eternal things would be left standing. (Hebrews 12:28-29, Exodus 9:13-16, Psalm 46:10) For God to send workers to the harvest to be a part of His work in this area.(Matthew 9:38) To thank God in advance for accomplishing His purposes through times of suffering and difficulty in our lives.(Romans 8:28, Romans 8:18) We pray to the Lord!
