Praying Parents out there? I like to pray scripture and I wanted to share one with you today. One that I nightly prayed for my son. Its Luke 2:52. Its the main scripture I prayed for him, it was his blessing I gave to him at bedtime. Theres a lot of talk in the Old a testament about giving blessings to your children and thats where this started. So I was googling around and I found all these different translations and wanted to inspire you to find a scripture to honor your children with. As you read your Bible or other books underline things or scripture youd like to pray for your children. Maybe choose a special color for each child. Pretty soon youll be praying scripture too. Ask God to reveal what he wants you to pray. Its Awesome. A wonderful way to get motivated to be in Gods Word, learn verses and know that you are praying Gods will for your childrens life. So here are the translations plus one more verse. The Message (MSG) 51-52 (So he went back to Nazareth with them, and lived obediently with them. His mother held these things dearly, deep within herself.) And Jesus matured, growing up in both body and spirit, blessed by both God and people. New International Version And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. New Living Translation Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people. King James Bible And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. American Standard Version And Jesus advanced in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. Websters Bible Translation And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. Weymouth New Testament And as Jesus grew older He gained in both wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. World English Bible And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. Youngs Literal Translation and Jesus was advancing in wisdom, and in stature, and in favour with God and men. Proverbs 3:4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. **Luke 2:40** And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him.
