Dikken pleds guilty-sentenced to life myklgr/pages/19317171.php?contentType=4&contentId=15481126 It’s over. 29 year old Andrew Dikken pled guilty to premeditated first degree murder this morning in Chippewa County District Court and was sentenced to life in prison without parole. In front of family and friends of the victims, Dikken said that he was sorry for what he had done and took full responsibility. Dikken was indicted by a grand jury of premeditated first degree murder in the death of Kara Monson of Granite Falls and Chris Panitzke of Redwood Falls along with other charges that included murder while committing burglary and attempting to commit arson. The judge commented that he did not feel that Dikken’s level of remorse was of much value to those in the courtroom. Victim impact statements were given with a tearful and full courtroom.
