Praying for my City. Although Im not home, the recent events in Saint Louis have made National News coverage. Although I feel remorse for the family of a young child who recently lost his life, there are many things that I dont understand & maybe can be explained for those of us who dont know. Why is this becoming such a race issue? White cop kills black kid & everyone is running around screaming that the white man is out to get our people. I wonder if race would even be an issue if a black officer did the same thing? Secondly, since when did every black citizen become an investigor? Everyone wants to assume they know what happened when none of you were actually there. Whats the point of an investigation if people are just going to jump to conclusions? I am in no way attempting to validate that Officers actions, but what I am waiting on is the Facts and maybe you all should too. Burning dumpsters, damaging property, starting riots and making threats are not leading to a solution but instead causing more problems. Maybe if we show a little more concern when crime occurs in general and not just when a different race or a badge is involved, the turmoil in Saint Louis will cease. Let this be an open invitation to delete yourself from my friends list because if you are ranting Fuc* 12 baby we are not friends in the first place. đâ
