Praying for those who are feeling lonely... Dear Lord, Please bless each person who is feeling alone. Please bring people into their lives who will be there to share a kind word, or a hug. Please send people to stand beside them and help carry their burdens and share their joy and sorrow. Please, Lord... fill the empty places in their heart with more of yourself. We thank you for your Holy Spirit which you have given us so we will never be alone...your Spirit is with us always and you are closer than a brother...you promise to never leave us or forsake us and your grace is always sufficient. Help us to remember that you know our every need and you are faithful to meet those needs in your timing...help us do all we can to help ourselves and then trust you for the rest. Please help us to turn the times when we feel the most isolated and alone, into opportunities for forging a deeper relationship with you. Help us to focus on the many blessings that we have... Help us to cast aside the discouragement the enemy whispers to us and please speak truth into our hearts, Lord and help us to find a sense of contentment that defies our circumstances. May we find our joy and fulfillment in you. Lord, teach us, lead us, stretch us and guide us, so if we are in need of a friend we wont just sit and wait for people to come to us. Help us to reach out to others... we dont have to look far to find someone who is lonely or hurting...help us to step out of our comfort zone when we are feeling alone and isolated. Help us to remember that by sharing your love with those we come in contact with, we will feel better about ourselves and our circumstances ...we will find purpose and meaning for our lives and we will find peace and comfort as well as we share your love. Lord, please meet each need according to your will and in your timing and help each of us to trust and believe that we are right where you want us to be and that everything... and every season, that you allow into our lives is for our good and your glory and is part of a good plan that you have for our lives. Help us to trust and find peace and comfort in your arms, Lord. In the name of Jesus we ask these things, Amen.
