"PreÂventÂing stigÂmatÂisaÂtion and providÂing rights of access, accurÂacy and corÂrecÂtion are becomÂing more importÂant for how conÂtemÂporÂary priÂvacy law is underÂstood and applied. Although we may no longer be able to limit the amount or scope of informÂaÂtion about us that is colÂlecÂted, priÂvacy still has a role in regÂuÂlatÂing how it is used, and in diminÂishÂing the negÂatÂive conÂsequences that can occur. Arguing that ‘priÂvacy is dead’ is not parÂticÂuÂlarly helpÂful at all."
