Precious moments in our recently completed 300 hour YOGAMAZÉ YTT. This group inspired me with their commitment to learning and teaching. They were one of the highest functioning and supportive groups I have ever worked with. I bow to each and every one of these great beings, and to all the mentors/TAs that worked with me and everyone behind the scenes who made this possible. It is also the name of an opera written by Phillip Glass (music & libretto) and Constance DeJong (libretto) that deals with Mahatma Gandhis early years in South Africa and his development of non-violent protest into a political tool. The entire opera is in Sanskrit and the text is adapted from the Bhagavad-Gita. This aria, sung by Nichol Chase, is from Act III and is entitled Evening Song.
