"Prejudiced" in my translation of the term means to have some biased, per determined idea of a person or situation without having the facts. "Racist" making a clear distinction about a group or a person based on the color of skin or belief system of that group or person and acting on that distinction in a negative or positive manner. Zimmerman may be racist, and he is certainly prejudiced by the 911 calls, but I truly believe he would have shot a white/Hispanic man who had been bouncing his head off the concrete. That is the difference.
