Prelude: The day had been long for all the men on duty and they were exhausted before the final call of the day came across the radio. Although they were ready to return home to their families, this call was of the upmost importance. The dispatcher had just told them all that the hospital just down the street was under siege by an unknown number of men. As they ran to their cars and donned their best body armor, they heard a loud explosion. It did not come from the direction of the hospital but from the local school up the road. Shortly after, they heard another explosion and saw a great flash come from the direction of the local shopping center. As they scrambled to get themselves together and try and figure out exactly what was happening, the dispatcher came over the radio again and said that a coordinated attack was taking place not only in their town, but all across the country. The officer’s were frightened, but as they always do, they mustered the strength and running on adrenalin, they prayed for strength and proceeded to all the locations where the attacks were known to be taking place. Some headed to the hospital to try and confront the men who were undoubtedly killing those who were there while others headed to the locations of the bombings in hopes of finding no one injured. As they headed to their respective destinations, inside their minds they were playing out what they would need to do when they arrived; though, no amount of preparation could have readied them for what they were about to find! I just wrote this in the last few minutes. This is the beginning to a storyline I intend to finish over the next few months. For those who do not understand the need for our law enforcement to be militarized and have the needed means, REMEMBER! We are the civilian militia, needed to keep the peace and defend the US Constitution on American soil!
