Preparations for Stroud Goodwill Evening are under way and the organising committee is looking for town businesses, groups, schools, musicians and individuals to come forward with ideas, plans and offers of involvement on any level whatsoever. The event will be taking place on Friday the 5th of December this year and will have craft and gift fairs, choirs, bands and buskers and the fabulous lantern procession. The event, which is sponsored by Stroud Town Council, town traders and Stroud farmers’ market, marks the beginning of the festive period in the town and is always a huge success. “In the past traders and members of the community have come forward with their ideas of what they want to do on the evening and we are looking for the same again this year”
