(Prepare Ye the Way) Mark 1:2-4; As it is written in Isaiah the prophet: BEHOLD, I SEND MY MESSENGER AHEAD OF YOU, WHO WILL PREPARE YOUR WAY; 3THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, MAKE READY THE WAY OF THE LORD, MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT. 4John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins Seasons Greetings from Reverend Darius Randle, and from my family to yours. This is the advent season (meaning the season of the coming of Christ!) This is a season where Jesus is celebrated! Where Jesus coming is foretold! John is the receiver & Isaiah is the prophet! John met Jesus as he walked forth and scripture says; The voice of the one crying in the wilderness, make ready the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. The wilderness can be whatever our sanctimonious minds ponder on! Maybe the wilderness is your financial status, maybe the wilderness is your relationships, maybe the wilderness is the wicked Criminal Justice system that fails to prosecutes police officers who shoot unarmed children, who then choke us out illegally! THERE IS A CRY COMING FROM THE WILDERNESS!! Jesus has come to make our paths straight! Make way for the Savior! In this season can you make way for Jesus? Maybe shopping isnt so good, if it takes emphasis off the Lord. Nothing wrong with a little shopping, nothing wrong with buying something new, nothing wrong with buying those you love some Christmas gifts, but if you mad that lil Ray Ray cant get that Xbox because you ran out of money, or lil Mike Mike cant get the Jordans that come out, THAT AINT NOTHING TO BE MAD ABOUT, AS A MATTER OF FACT ITS A SIGN, THAT THIS SEASON AINT ABOUT MICHAEL JORDAN, THIS SEASON AINT ABOUT MICROSOFT AND BILL GATES, THIS SEASON IS ABOUT THE LORD AND DONT YOU KNOW HES A JEALOUS GOD!!! When we put stuff before the Savior, it upsets God! Maybe as we all stand in unity across the country wearing black for Justice. Lets be mindful of the savior Jesus Christ. Its his birthday! What a better present we can give him than a made up mind! Giving the Lord our hearts! Hes come to make our paths straight!
