Preparing for my first cyclone experience.... Glad Im not on the coastline or living on top of the mountain like one of our neighbours that we just hiked up to visit. Instead we are in a little bit of a valley with the protection of the rainforest and mountains around us to buffer the effects however as Cyclone Ita is predicted to pass straight over us, feeling a little anxious and some of the build up tension and anticipation of what is to unfold. Reminding myself to just breathe, trust and envision our safety. Wishing everyone in more exposed areas of the oncoming experience safety and peace through the excitement of it all too.
