“President Benigno Aquino III confirmed Tuesday that he will no longer renew the contract of National Irrigation Administration head Antonio Nangel for his apparently poor performance. Aquino made the announcement about a week after he reprimanded NIA officials during the agency’s 50th anniversary celebration.
