President Bush was, too often, a mediocre President. He never saw - TopicsExpress

President Bush was, too often, a mediocre President. He never saw a spending Bill he didnt like and he did nothing to slow let alone reverse the growth of the Federal government and our debt. Nonetheless, as a man he was and remains a true class act. In the first two minutes of the 2007 State of the Union Address he demonstrates more class, more tact, more respect for the office, more genteelness and more maturity than the man child who is currently POTUS has demonstrated in all his six years in office thus far. President Obamas State of the Union address this year was little more than a petulant, childish tantrum. I wouldnt want to see George Bush President again (were such a thing possible), but I would salute him for being, personality-wise, a truly great President.
