President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan promised To ensure there is no sacred cow in the fight against corruption and that all crimes will be investigated as security is key. Ironically, under his watch, the minister of interior Mr. Abba Moro organised the biggest job placement scam ever in the countrys 100 years history. It wasnt just that unemployed graduates were made to part with their money without offering them jobs, lives were also lost. The death of over a dozen applicants as a result of a stampede at the recruitment exercise was recorded. The Federal Government promised the victims’ families compensation and jobs. However, as at the time of this write up, the government is yet to fulfill its promises for a tragic event that occurred in March, 2014. Till this time t, Mr. Abba Moro is still the minister of interior, no refund was made and promises are still left unkept. This lackadaisical attitude on the part of the president clearly shows that he doesnt have the will to fight the cankerworm called corruption. The least he would have done was to sack the honourable minister. It also shows that the president does not value human life and insensitive to the plight of an average unemployed Nigerian graduate for him to have not fulfilled the promises made to the families of those that lost their loved ones in the stampede
