President Hadi receives European Union delegation December 2, 2013 -SANAA President Abdrabuh Mansour Hadi received the European Union delegation led by the Director for North Africa, Middle East, Arabian Peninsula, Iran and Iraq in the European Union, Christian Berger. Hadi reviewed during the meeting the nature of current situation and the latest developments in Yemen in the framework of the political settlement from different aspects. Also he reviewed steps regarding to the progress have been made in the NDC which is about to conclude. The President expressed his appreciation for assistances provided by the EU to Yemen in this critical and delicate state in particular in the security field, saying that building headquarters for police services in the capitals of all Yemeni provinces would reflect a great impress in the path of continued cooperation and between Yemen and EU. Hadi stressed on the urgent needs for Yemen to be helped by the EU at various sectors particularly the upcoming period. For his part, the head of EU delegation confirmed that the assistance of the EU would continue in various fields until achieving the goals of the change based on the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism backed by the UN Security Council resolution 2014 and 2051. He also hailed all steps taken by the President in the way of solving the crisis in the country.
