President Jonathan and His Advisers and Staff: Ignore Gov. Amaechi - TopicsExpress

President Jonathan and His Advisers and Staff: Ignore Gov. Amaechi I know how difficult it must be in a country, where the customs of tit-for-tat and the propaganda craze are all the rage. However, President Jonathan and his staff should ignore the Rivers State Governor Amaechi and his attacks. They should let the mass media and other independent critics deal with him. That is how to stay above the fray, while maintaining the dignity of the presidency. It is also the way, the presidency might avoid pushing the governor up to a status that he does not really deserve: an equal to the president in national politics. He might excite some people, but the political realities on the ground show, that he is just a small-time player, who like other state officials, cannot even have a robust public sector in his state, without depending on the Federal Government unduly.
