President Koroma has paid glowing tribute to past leaders of the APC who fought hard to ensure the party survives the turbulent waters of the past. He said that if there were no veterans in the past the APC would not have been in power today. He encouraged party stalwarts to be patient as there is more in store for everyone, and added that everyone has a role to play. Everybody is important even the Abacha trader is important in the party, and we should appreciate that. President Koroma described the formal launch of the Veterans Welfare Association as very much timely, saying that with this the APC will live forever. He urged all to take the upcoming census very seriously because it will help the government to plan very well for the people of Sierra Leone, and also encouraged party stalwarts to pay attention on the Constitutional Review Process.
