President Koroma’s Envoy Engages World Doctors on Ebola Physicians Accross Continents (PAC) is a non- governmental and humanitarian organization affiliated to the Muslim World League (MWL). PAC has about 400 doctors in the Saudi capital, Riyadh and about 600 are based in London, Niger, Sudan and Turkey. It is composed of health professionals from Saudi Arabia, America, Russia, Sweden, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Malaysia. President Koroma’s envoy to Saudi Arabia, Mohamed Sillah Kargbo met with the General Secretary, Dr. Saad Ali Al Qarni of the Saudi-based medical team on Thursday, 11th September, 2014. Dr. Qarni is also a Consultant, Vascular Surgery at the renowned King Faisal Specialists Hospital and Research Center here in Riyadh. During their meeting, the Ambassador requested for essential medical supplies for the eradication of the deadly Ebola virus. Responding on behalf of his team, Dr. Al-Qarni pledged PAC’s support in the fight against the killer virus. The charitable organization was founded in 2004 and since then, it has helped treated patients around the globe regardless of race, colour religion and country. PAC had visited Sierra Leone for over there times and it provided free medical to the poor and needy in the capital and other parts of the country. The meeting was also attended by other senior doctors: Dr. Abdul Hakeem Kattan, Directory Council Member and Dr. Ahmed Muridi Nur, Director of Medical Programs. The Ambassador was accompanied by his Head of Chancery, Umaru Dura, Third Secretary, Sulaiman Tunkara and other locally recruited Staff members: Osman Gbessay and Sheku Turay.
