President Obama attacked republicans for not raising his debt ceiling yet now he gloats his administration is responsible for the largest deficit drop in US history. Okay, the Republican House of Representatives (The House controls spending levels) refuses to pass Obamas spending budget because it increased US debt. The White House goes on attack. The government shut down once and almost twice. Now the White House touts that Obama is being fiscally responsible. This is nothing more than double talk and another Obama spin to claim victory where there is no victory. We have attempted to spend our way into prosperity and all we have to show for it is the highest deficits in US history (Our grandchildren will be forced to pay this one off). If you do not believe deficit spending is dangerous, try this. Gather up all your money, go out and spend it, then get several loans and spend all of that, hit up all your friends and relatives for money and spend it. Next, turn to business acquaintances, peoples savings accounts, workers pension plans (Social Security) and tell them you have a deal that will make them rich, take their money and spend it. Mortgage the house and everything in it. Leave all of this debt to your children and grandchildren and let them pay it back. This is what the Obama administration is doing and that is why S&P was forced to lower our credit rating, recently (Obama is suing S&P for the lower score using executive privilege, of course). We must get our spending under control and stop mortgaging our childrens future. No more deals, buyouts, or spin. Just give it to me straight and stop spending more than we make.
