President Poroshenko considers the assassination of the mayor of Kremenchuk and the attempted assassination of the mayor of Lviv manifestations of terrorist activity designed to intimidate the civilian population in the peaceful regions of Ukraine. The Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the General Prosecutors Office are working closely with local police departments to investigate the two crimes.
