President and Pope discuss Lankan situ ! President Mahinda Rajapaksa met Pope Francis and Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin at the Vatican today and discussed the situation in Sri Lanka, Vatican Radio reported. During their meeting the Pope and the President discussed the situation in Sri Lanka, with particular reference to recent social and economic progress.
