Presidents Awards for Excellence in Student Activities - nominations close 16 February 2015 The President’s Awards recognise the efforts of students in areas of university life other than the academic, particularly the leadership, commitment and energy which help to turn UCD into a lively, engaged university community. Recipients are typically actively engaged in service to UCD societies, clubs or the Students’ Union, provide support services for fellow students or have excelled in competitive activity in the University or in inter-varsity events. Any member of the College – either student or staff – can make a nomination; it is not necessary that the person nominated is aware of the nomination. Previous law students who have received one of these awards include - Frank Kennedy, Cliona Kelly, Ciarán Ahern, Conor OHanlon, Liam Rushe, Ian Boyle Harper, Ian Dalton, Ian Hastings, Patrick Fitzgerald and Rachel Duffy.
