Press Alert | Five Agriculture research reports to be tabled tomorrow Issued by the ECRDAR Ministry on 11 August 2014 The Rural Development and Agrarian Reform Researchers will present five critical agricultural research papers tomorrow during a seminar series at the Dohne Agricultural Development Institute outside Sutterheim. The papers are titled: 1. Insect Pest Control according to some gardeners in the Alexandria Township, Western District 2. Milk production of Jersey and Fleckvieh x Jersey cows in a pasture-based system 3. Proposed agro-climatic zones for Eastern Cape 4. Citrus greening: A threat to the citrus industry in the Eastern Cape 5. Investigations into socio-economic and production characteristics of sheep farming in the communal grazing areas of the Eastern Cape: Case study of the Masimanyane community project The main purpose of the Seminar is to share information and technologies generated from research projects conducted by the department throughout the province.
