Press release for July 17, 2014 authorized by Chief of Police James R Hauschild The Manchester Police Department investigated 4 different meth lab incidents between July 13, 2014 and July 15, 2014. July 13, 2014 The Manchester Police Department was called to 500 East Union St. Manchester for a domestic disturbance. During the course of that investigation Manchester Officers discovered numerous one pot meth labs in the home and garage. The meth labs were processed, all evidence was seized, and dangerous items were disposed of. The home and garage were placarded informing people clandestine labs were found in the structures and the structures are not safe for habitation or use. Arrested Brandon James Jacobson of Harpers Ferry Iowa Age 22 Charge Domestic Assault More charges pending further investigation July 14, 2014 The Manchester Police Department served a search warrant at 500 North Franklin St. Manchester. While serving the search warrant Officers found a one pot meth lab in the basement of the house. The meth lab was processed, all evidence was seized, and dangerous items were disposed of. The home was placarded informing people a clandestine lab was found in the structure and the structure is not safe for habitation or use. No arrest were made, the case is still under investigation. July 15, 2014 A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of East Fayette St. Manchester. An arrest was made during the course of that traffic stop. A search of the vehicle was conducted incident to arrest. Clandestine lab related items were found in the car. The meth lab related items were processed, all evidence was seized, and dangerous items were disposed of. Arrested Beau Andrew Hutchinson of Manchester Iowa Age 22 Charge Driving While Barred More charges pending further investigation July 15, 2014 The Manchester Police Department served a search warrant at 612 North Franklin St. Manchester. During a search of the garage Officers found several one pot meth labs. The meth labs were processed, all evidence was seized, and dangerous items were disposed of. The garage was placarded informing people clandestine labs were found in the structure and the structure is not safe for habitation or use.
