Pressure is both constructive and debilitating and energizing all - TopicsExpress

Pressure is both constructive and debilitating and energizing all at the same time. No pressure, no diamonds, true, and, talk to the coal about how it felt to get there! No stress, no tension, no pressure: thats a dead body. We living humans require, and are built to endure all kinds of pressure, stress and tension. The stress of being born kick starts the process: nothing like putting on the squeeze to clear our lungs for that first breath, and to boost our adrenaline levels to meet the challenge of our first day in the sun. From there on out, health is a function of balancing yourself amidst the stress of living, and, frankly, spending some of those health points on the things you care most about, even when that amounts to literally spending your life. A life well spent unlikely amounts to one lived in a stress-free bubble of perfection, not that such a thing could ever be constructed. The well lived life probably looks instead a little squashed and crooked past straightening, a bit dog-eared, multifaceted in its compensations, and for all that, precious as a gemstone.
